The project covers the design, manufacturing and installation of the deck equipment and hydraulic system for the Segyero tuna vessel, built at the STX shipyard for Dongwon in Korea. This vessel is a twin of the Miraero, which was also fitted out by Marco in 2015.
Stand out deck equipment installed includes the Marco WS-567 purse seine winch and the Marco PB-78 power block, plus a whole range of auxiliary deck winches, deck cranes, a purse davit and a corkline stacker.
Noteworthy new features include the installation of a variable flow hydraulic power unit which consumes less power than conventional hydraulic power systems.
