Side Thrusters

Side thrusters permit fast, independent, safe maneuvering by vessels of all types, especially when stationary or moving at low speeds. Marco side thrusters are configured individually for each specific application.

They provide maximum effectiveness and reliability for vessels of all types in all working conditions and up to 500 HP.

Characteristics

  • Fixed pitch screw propellers.
  • Proportional speed control.
  • Compatible with hydraulic, electric and diesel drives.
  • Compact design, easy to install at bow or stern.
  • A stainless steel wear ring is included inside the tunnel to protect it against cavitation and corrosion.
  • Remote control systems are available on request.
