MARCO will supply additional auxiliary winches to Win Power 707 tuna vessel, originally built as Via Marina and later Tautaloa. The purse seiner belongs to a Taiwanese shipowner and has been fully equipped with MARCO deck machinery, including MARCO´s WS-586 purse seine winch and PB-78 Power Block. Vessel´s entire hydraulic system has also been designed and manufactured by MARCO.
With a 3.8 Tn pull capacity, the new auxiliary winches will be used to carry out vessel´s auxiliary topping booms´ vang manoeuvres. For its handling and control, additional joysticks will be installed on the purse seiner's control console. These new winches will help to improve the operability and efficiency of vessel´s fishing manoeuvre.
The Win Power 707 purse seiner is Ching Fu shipyard´s H105 construction and is based on Campbell purse seiner´s design. The ship, initially commissioned by a French shipowner, changed ownership during its construction, renaming itself as Tautaloa, but the new owner was not able to finalized its construction, which was completed by its current owner who renamed it with as Win Power 707. The vessel is 78.86 meters long with a 14.66 meters beam and a fish hold volume of 1300 m3.
